1. Adagio Teas
A broad U.S. tea and teaware catalog with loose leaf, Pu-erh, samplers, and brewing tools. Public program information lists 10% commission through CJ. CJ publisher signup is presented as free; the private agreement must still confirm attribution, payout, territory, and brand-use terms.
2. Bookshop.org
The strongest fit for annotated tea, botany, history, ceramics, culture, and foraging-safety reading lists. Public terms list 10% for non-bookstore affiliates, 48-hour last-touch attribution, and a $20 payout minimum through Stripe.

3. The Republic of Tea
An established catalog spanning tea, botanical infusions, teaware, books, and gifts. Public program information lists 4% and a 30-day attribution window through Impact. Impact partner signup is presented as free.

Direct applications to revisit
Harney & Sons and Tea Runners offer merchant-specific application routes, but their public pages do not disclose enough commission, attribution, recurring-order, payout, or image-license detail for activation without reviewing the private agreement.
Selection rule: a commission never turns an untested item into a recommendation. Exact tested products will be photographed and labeled; research-only candidates will be identified as not independently tested.
How a recommendation earns a place
- Name the exact product or tea lot and whether it was bought, gifted, discounted, or borrowed.
- Record the price and date, availability, origin, harvest, cultivar, maker, and storage claims when supplied.
- Photograph the exact tested item and describe its condition and storage on arrival.
- Publish water, vessel, leaf-to-water ratio, temperature, time, and repeated-infusion notes.
- State strengths, weaknesses, value, and the drinker for whom the item makes sense.
- Verify the signed rate, attribution window, reversals, payout, brand rules, and image permissions.
- Place a plain-language disclosure before the first paid link and mark paid links as sponsored.
No-inventory original products
The leanest path is an externally hosted store whose provider takes the order and fulfills it. No Being Tea Co storefront or product is active yet. Before promotion, an exact physical sample must pass print, wash or handling, shipping, packaging, and real-use checks.
Fourthwall — merchandise and digital downloads
Fourthwall presents $0 monthly and $0 upfront storefront access. For its catalog products, it deducts production after a sale, manufactures, ships, handles sales tax as merchant of record, and provides customer support. It is a candidate for stickers, mugs, tea towels, tasting journals, and downloadable sampler files. Its ordinary playing cards use one shared back and are not suitable for a deck with a different prompt on every face.

MakePlayingCards Marketplace — the physical conversation deck
MakePlayingCards can print individually designed card faces and presents $0 setup, listing, inventory, or advance manufacturing cost for its marketplace. The manufacturer takes the order, prints, ships, and handles customer inquiries; public seller terms state a 5% handling fee on earnings and a $100 cash-royalty threshold. A proof copy will be ordered and inspected before any physical edition is advertised as approved.
