Starting point

Use very little large whole leaf, comfortable-temperature water and enough room for the leaf to settle.

What you need

  • Wide tea bowl
  • Large whole leaf
  • Kettle

Method

  1. Warm the bowl.
  2. Add a sparse layer of leaf.
  3. Pour gently.
  4. Wait and observe.
  5. Drink slowly; add water as needed.
