Being Tea Co collects as little information as the current educational site requires. WordPress.com and Jetpack provide the hosting, security, statistics, comments, subscriptions, forms, and cookie infrastructure used by this site.
Information you choose to send
If you email Being Tea Co, subscribe, comment, or submit a form, the service receives the address or account you use, your message, and any files or information you include. Please do not send passwords, authentication or recovery codes, payment-card details, medical records, or other highly sensitive information.
Technical information
WordPress.com, Jetpack, network, analytics, and security providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, approximate location derived from an IP address, timestamps, requested pages, referring pages, authentication status, cookies, and security logs to operate the site, measure use, and prevent abuse.

Advertising and consent
This site uses the WordPress.com Personal plan. Being Tea Co does not currently run third-party display advertising and is not enrolled in WordAds. WordPress.com and Jetpack may still use cookies or similar technologies for hosting, security, statistics, subscriptions, forms, and site operation; Automattic’s cookie controls apply to those services.
Before Being Tea Co activates any display advertising, the site will name the advertising partner, configure the privacy-policy URL and applicable opt-out and consent controls, and update this policy to describe the actual settings. Where required, consent will be obtained before personalized advertising or advertising cookies are used.
Affiliate and commerce data
No paid affiliate links or Being Tea Co checkout are active today. If affiliate links are later activated, they may contain an attribution identifier and the named retailer or network may use cookies under its own policy. A clear commission disclosure will appear before those links, and this policy will name the active networks before launch.
External services and links
Links to retailers, research sources, Instagram, X, YouTube, and other third parties take you to services that set their own privacy practices. Being Tea Co does not control those sites. Opening an external link may send the destination standard referral and device information.
Retention and sharing
Correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably useful for the conversation, records, safety, or legal obligations. Information may be shared with service providers that operate the site or email, when required by law, or when necessary to protect rights and safety. Being Tea Co does not itself sell contact lists or payment information.
Children and privacy requests
This site is not directed to children under 13. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of information you provided. Send requests to beingteaco@gmail.com. Requests involving WordPress.com account data may also need to be directed to Automattic.
Changes
This notice will be revised before materially new data practices go live. The updated date changes when the policy changes.
